Lady Raven Moonshadow was ordained as a Wiccan High Priestess in 1996, after ten years of both formal and solitary study with Lady Igraine, the High Priestess of the Coven of the Golden Sky, based in Northern California. Shortly after Lady Raven was ordained, the coven’s High Priestess was no longer able to continue fulfilling the responsibilities of leadership. With Lady Igraine’s guidance, the Coven of the Golden Sky came to an end, and the Sacred Mists Coven and its Tradition were born, with Lady Raven as High Priestess.

The Sacred Mists Tradition is an eclectic blend of Celtic and Faerie Wicca which respects and encourages the individuality of each student. The Coven and School associated with the Tradition both provide a safe haven for those who believe in the Celtic Gods and Goddesses. Members are encouraged to holistically develop their potential spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical and artistic abilities as they work with the world of Nature, cherishing, protecting, and cooperating with it in every way, both internally and externally.

The Sacred Mist Coven and Circle has been in existence since 1997, and in 2002, the Goddess led Lady Raven to bring Sacred Mists online so that others around the world would be able to access the rich offerings that Sacred Mists strives to provide to the Pagan Community. Unlike other online programs which employ the use of automated grading systems, Sacred Mists offers completely personalized instruction throughout the training process ensuring that each and every student is provided with individualized training and assessment that closely mirrors that of the offline coven training environment.

The Sacred Mists Shoppe, “Enchanted Wares for Enlightened Souls,” offers a wide variety of eclectic and useful items for anyone who is interested in magick, ritual, knowledge, and the beauty of the Wiccan Path.
